What help we can and cannot provide

We can help you understand common routes, such as adult passport renewal by mail with Form DS-82 if you qualify, first-time or replacement passport applications in person with Form DS-11, and urgent or life-or-death appointment options that may be available for travel within about 14 days. We can also explain typical timing, such as routine service often taking about 4 to 6 weeks and expedited service often taking about 2 to 3 weeks, plus mailing time. These are estimates only.
