What to expect, in plain language

A private expediter does not approve passports or visas. Only the government can do that. An expediter may help move your application through the official process by reviewing your paperwork, arranging courier delivery, and hand-carrying documents where allowed. That can be useful when you have urgent travel, but timelines are still only estimates.

Some common U.S. passport routes are:
